today i’m feeling too zonked for the world. i think it’s because last night there was a thunderstorm so crazy i spent all my midnight hours twitching under the comforter, convinced the ultimate new york apocalypse had finally descended to eat me.*

welcome, summer.

so in lieu of doing anything productive, i spent most of my time laughing at these.

they’re all gems in their own right, but my favorites include kettle chips challenge and those two where they try a bunch of f’d-up japanese kit kats.

watch the videos, too. it’s funny to see how much less funny av club staffers are on camera than they are in their quippy quote lists.

*sentence that does not make grammatical sense, but should make emotional sense.

speaking of dirty things that make me feel dirty and happy, i just finished the first two seasons of carnivale. it took roughly a week for me to get through all twenty-four episodes, partially because i picked up hella momentum once nick stahl’s character (“that ain’t right,” ben hawkins) morphed from dopey hillbilly into intense-super-stud-healer.

swoon swoon swoon–in every episode he was always coated with exactly this much filth.
